ତାପୀ, ପୟୋଷ୍ଣୀ, ନିର୍ବିନ୍ଧ୍ୟା, ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରଭାଗା ଓ ଇରାବତୀ; ତଥା କାବେରୀ, ଶରୟୂ, ଗଣ୍ଡକୀ ଏବଂ ନୈମିଷ—ଏହି ସବୁ ପବିତ୍ର ତୀର୍ଥ-ନଦୀ।
