अवध्याश्च स्त्रियः सृष्टा मन्यंते धर्मचिंतकाः । तस्माद्धर्मेण धर्मज्ञ एष वादो मनीषिणाम्

Transliteration

avadhyāśca striyaḥ sṛṣṭā manyaṃte dharmaciṃtakāḥ | tasmāddharmeṇa dharmajña eṣa vādo manīṣiṇām

Translation

ଧର୍ମଚିନ୍ତକମାନେ ମନେ କରନ୍ତି ଯେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ‘ଅବଧ୍ୟ’—ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ବଧ ନ କରିବାଯୋଗ୍ୟ—ଭାବେ ସୃଷ୍ଟ। ତେଣୁ ହେ ଧର୍ମଜ୍ଞ, ମନୀଷୀମାନଙ୍କର ଯୁକ୍ତିସଙ୍ଗତ ମତ ଏହି: ଧର୍ମକୁ ଧର୍ମମାର୍ଗରେ ହିଁ ପାଳନ କର।
