udayānudayau prājñairdraṣṭavyau puṣpavaṃtayoḥ | sadaikarūpatā'tyājyā harṣāharṣau tato'dhruvau

ଫୁଲଧାରୀ ଉଦ୍ଭିଦରେ ଯେପରି ଉଦୟ-ଅନୁଦୟ ଦେଖାଯାଏ, ସେପରି ପ୍ରାଜ୍ଞ ଲୋକ ଉତ୍ଥାନ-ପତନ ଦେଖିବା ଉଚିତ୍; ସଦା ଏକରୂପତାର ଆଶା ତ୍ୟାଜ୍ୟ—ତେଣୁ ହର୍ଷ ଓ ବିଷାଦ ଅଧ୍ରୁବ।
