ଏଠାର ସମସ୍ତ ଲିଙ୍ଗମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏହା ପରମ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ, ରତ୍ନସ୍ୱରୂପ। ତେଣୁ ଏହାର ନାମ ‘ରତ୍ନେଶ୍ୱର’—ଯିଏ ନିର୍ବାଣ-ରତ୍ନର ପରମ ଦାତା।
