Tapodhanas/Sages (deduced from narrative: they begin praising and then request)
Tirtha: Vyāghreśa
Type: temple
Scene: Sages in añjali plead with Śiva: ‘Remain here, O Jagadguru, in this very form, named Vyāghreśa.’ Śiva’s expression is compassionate assent; the tiger emblem becomes the shrine’s identity.
Devotees ask not only for rescue but for the Lord’s abiding presence—grace becomes a permanent sanctity in a place.
A Kāśī locale associated with Śiva’s form/name ‘Vyāghreśa’, implying a liṅga or shrine established by this event.
The verse implies sthāpanā/bhāva of enduring presence and nāma-kīrtana—invoking Śiva as ‘Vyāghreśa’ in worship.
