मुक्तिलक्ष्मी महापीठ मणिस्तच्चरणाब्जयोः । कर्णिकेयं ततः प्राहुर्यां जना मणिकर्णिकाम्

Transliteration

muktilakṣmī mahāpīṭha maṇistaccaraṇābjayoḥ | karṇikeyaṃ tataḥ prāhuryāṃ janā maṇikarṇikām

Translation

ତାଙ୍କ ପଦ୍ମଚରଣ ନିକଟେ ମୁକ୍ତିଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ନାମକ ମହାପୀଠ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ; ସେଠାରେ ମଣି ମଧ୍ୟ ରହିଛି। ତେଣୁ ଲୋକେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ‘କର୍ଣିକା’ (କାନର ଭୂଷଣ) ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି, ଏବଂ ସେହିପରି ଏହା ‘ମଣିକର୍ଣିକା’ ନାମେ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ।
