ରବିବାର ଅରୁଣୋଦୟେ ସାମ୍ବକୁଣ୍ଡରେ ସ୍ନାନ କରି ଏବଂ ବିଧିପୂର୍ବକ ସାମ୍ବାଦିତ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ପୂଜିଲେ, ସେ ବ୍ୟାଧିଦ୍ୱାରା ପରାଜିତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।

Scene: At first light (aruṇodaya) on a Sunday, a devotee descends steps into a lotus-lined kuṇḍa, then stands facing east offering arghya to the rising sun; a small Sūrya shrine nearby with lamps and flowers.
Sacred bathing and reverent worship performed at the proper time (Sunday dawn) are upheld as powerful supports of well-being and dharma.
Sāmbakuṇḍa in Kāśī (Vārāṇasī), associated with Sāmbāditya (Sūrya).
Snāna (bathing) in Sāmbakuṇḍa at aruṇodaya on Ravivāra, followed by proper pūjā of Sāmbāditya.
