ते प्रवेशं प्रयच्छंति नान्येषां हि कदाचन । इत्यर्थे कथयिष्येऽहमितिहासं पुरातनम् । आश्चर्यकारिपरमं काशीभक्तिप्रवर्धनम्
te praveśaṃ prayacchaṃti nānyeṣāṃ hi kadācana | ityarthe kathayiṣye'hamitihāsaṃ purātanam | āścaryakāriparamaṃ kāśībhaktipravardhanam
ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ କେବେ ନୁହେଁ। ଏହି ଅର୍ଥ ବୁଝାଇବାକୁ ମୁଁ ଏକ ପୁରାତନ ଇତିହାସ କହିବି—ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକର, କାଶୀଭକ୍ତି ବଢ଼ାଇବାଳା।
