Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and ṛṣis
Scene: Devī enthroned as the cosmic sovereign, surrounded by representatives of all beings offering reverence; behind her, a subtle mandala suggesting cosmic order and sacred rites.
The tradition speaks of the one supreme power as Īśvarī—origin and sustainer—conceived in a pure manifest form for devotion.
The Kāśīkhaṇḍa setting associates this vision of Īśvarī with Kāśī’s sacred identity as a place of worship and realization.
No specific vrata or rite is stated in this verse.
