इति व्याकुलिते लोके सुरासुरनरोरगे । आःकिमेतदकांडेभूद्रुरुदुर्दुद्रुवुः प्रजाः
iti vyākulite loke surāsuranarorage | āḥkimetadakāṃḍebhūdrurudurdudruvuḥ prajāḥ
ଏପରି ଦେବ, ଅସୁର, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଓ ନାଗମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଲୋକ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ ହେଲା। ‘ହାୟ! ଏହା ହଠାତ୍ କ’ଣ ଘଟିଲା?’ ବୋଲି କାନ୍ଦିକାନ୍ଦି ପ୍ରଜାମାନେ ଆତଙ୍କରେ ଏଠି-ସେଠି ଦୌଡ଼ିଲେ।
