ଛଳରେ କନ୍ୟାହରଣ କରି ଯେ ଅଷ୍ଟମ ‘ପୈଶାଚ’ ବିବାହ, ସେ ଗର୍ହିତ। ଏବଂ ‘ଗାନ୍ଧର୍ବ’, ‘ଆସୁର’, ‘ରାକ୍ଷସ’ ରୂପଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରାୟଃ କ୍ଷତ୍ରିୟ ଓ ବୈଶ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ଅଧିକ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧିତ ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଏ।
