vinā daṇḍapradānena mudrācihnaṃ na dhāryate | mudrāhastāśca vijñeyā vāḍavā nṛpasattama

Translation

ଦଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ରଦାନ ବିନା ମୁଦ୍ରା-ଚିହ୍ନ ଧାରଣ କରାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ। ଯାହାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ମୁଦ୍ରା ରହେ ସେମାନେ ‘ବାଡ଼ବ’ ବୋଲି ଜଣାଯିବେ, ହେ ନୃପଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ।
