व्यास उवाच । साधु पृष्टं त्वया राजन्धर्मज्ञस्त्वं सदा शुचिः । आदौ कलियुगे प्राप्ते यद्दत्तं तच्छृणुष्व भोः
vyāsa uvāca | sādhu pṛṣṭaṃ tvayā rājandharmajñastvaṃ sadā śuciḥ | ādau kaliyuge prāpte yaddattaṃ tacchṛṇuṣva bhoḥ
ବ୍ୟାସ କହିଲେ— ହେ ରାଜନ୍, ତୁମେ ଭଲ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିଛ; ତୁମେ ଧର୍ମଜ୍ଞ ଓ ସଦା ଶୁଚି। ଏବେ ଶୁଣ, ହେ ଭଦ୍ର, କଳିଯୁଗ ଆରମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ବିଧିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା।
