śrīrāma uvāca | na jāne tāvakānviprāṃścaturdikṣu samāśritān | na teṣāṃ vedmyahaṃ saṃkhyāṃ nāmagotre dvijanmanām

ଶ୍ରୀରାମ କହିଲେ—ଚାରି ଦିଗରେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନେଇଥିବା ତୁମ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେନି। ତାଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା, ଦ୍ୱିଜମାନଙ୍କ ନାମ ଓ ଗୋତ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ଅଜଣା।
