कन्योवाच । इच्छेयं यत्र काले हि तत्र देया त्वया पितुः । पुत्रीवाक्यादसौ राजा विस्मितो वाक्यमब्रवीत्

Transliteration

kanyovāca | iccheyaṃ yatra kāle hi tatra deyā tvayā pituḥ | putrīvākyādasau rājā vismito vākyamabravīt

Translation

କନ୍ୟା କହିଲା—‘ପିତା, ଯେ ସମୟରେ ମୋର ଇଚ୍ଛା ହେବ, ସେହି ସମୟରେ ତୁମେ ମୋତେ ବିବାହ ପାଇଁ ଦେବା ଉଚିତ।’ କନ୍ୟାର ବଚନ ଶୁଣି ରାଜା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ।
