श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । शृण्वन्तु ऋषयः सर्वे त्वं च तात युधिष्ठिर । पुराणं नर्मदायां तु कथितं च त्रिशूलिना
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | śṛṇvantu ṛṣayaḥ sarve tvaṃ ca tāta yudhiṣṭhira | purāṇaṃ narmadāyāṃ tu kathitaṃ ca triśūlinā
ଶ୍ରୀ ମାର୍କଣ୍ଡେୟ କହିଲେ—ସମସ୍ତ ଋଷିମାନେ ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ, ତୁମେ ମଧ୍ୟ, ପ୍ରିୟ ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର। ନର୍ମଦାତଟରେ ତ୍ରିଶୂଳଧାରୀ (ଶିବ) ଏହି ପୁରାଣ କଥନ କରିଥିଲେ।
