देवा ऊचुः । अन्धकाख्यो महादैत्यो बलवान् पद्मसम्भव । तेन देवगणाः सर्वे धनरत्नैर्वियोजिताः
devā ūcuḥ | andhakākhyo mahādaityo balavān padmasambhava | tena devagaṇāḥ sarve dhanaratnairviyojitāḥ
ଦେବମାନେ କହିଲେ—“ହେ ପଦ୍ମସମ୍ଭବ, ଅନ୍ଧକ ନାମକ ଏକ ବଳବାନ ମହାଦୈତ୍ୟ ଅଛି। ତାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ସମସ୍ତ ଦେବଗଣ ଧନ ଓ ରତ୍ନରୁ ବିୟୋଗ ପାଇଛନ୍ତି।”
