देव्युवाच । नाहं ते दयिता देव नाहं ते वशवर्तिनी । अकृत्वाधश्व वै तासां मानं सुरसुपूजितम्
devyuvāca | nāhaṃ te dayitā deva nāhaṃ te vaśavartinī | akṛtvādhaśva vai tāsāṃ mānaṃ surasupūjitam
ଦେବୀ କହିଲେ—ହେ ଦେବ, ମୁଁ ତୁମର ଦୟିତା ନୁହେଁ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ ବଶବର୍ତ୍ତିନୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ; ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଦେବମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୂଜୁଥିବା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମାନକୁ ନମାଅନାହିଁ।
