ब्राह्मण उवाच । सर्वेषामेव विप्राणां बटो त्वं गोत्र उत्तमे । दानानां परमं दानं कथं विद्या च दीयते

ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ କହିଲେ—ହେ ଗୋତ୍ରୋତ୍ତମ ବଟୁ, ସମସ୍ତ ବିପ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ। ଦାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପରମ ଦାନ ହେଉଛି ବିଦ୍ୟା; ଏହି ବିଦ୍ୟା କିପରି ଦିଆଯାଏ?
