Narrator (contextual Purāṇic narrator within Revā-khaṇḍa)
Tirtha: Koṭitīrtha
Type: ghat
Listener: Nṛpa (king)
Scene: A pilgrim arrives at dawn/liminal time on caturdaśī with Hasta nakṣatra; he bathes at the ghat, then sits in still meditation, river shimmering, priests and sages in the background.
Purāṇic dharma links inner concentration with outer pilgrimage: bathe at a holy ford at an auspicious time to purify and steady the mind.
The same Revā-khaṇḍa tīrtha referenced in the surrounding verses; it is praised as a sin-destroying bathing place.
Go to the tīrtha on the specified tithi with Hasta nakṣatra, perform snāna, and maintain samādhi-like composure (samāhita).
