Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It teaches that Shiva as Pati governs the universe with perfect justice: fruits arise according to puṇya, and mature souls are additionally guided toward liberating knowledge (jñāna).
Seeing Shiva as the personal Lord who dispenses karmic results supports Saguna worship—especially Linga-upāsanā—because devotion aligns one’s conduct with dharma and ripens the mind for jñāna granted by Shiva.
Practice steady Shiva-bhakti with daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and cultivate ethical living (puṇya); this purifies the mind so Shiva’s grace manifests as right knowledge.
