अनुग्रह-स्वातन्त्र्य-प्रमाणविचारः | Inquiry into Pramāṇa, Divine Autonomy, and Grace

यथा काष्ठेष्वनारूढो न वह्निरुपलभ्यते । एवं शिवो ऽपि मूर्त्यात्मन्यनारूढ इति स्थितिः

Transliteration

yathā kāṣṭheṣvanārūḍho na vahnirupalabhyate | evaṃ śivo 'pi mūrtyātmanyanārūḍha iti sthitiḥ

Translation

ଯେପରି କାଠରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଥାଇଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ, ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହା ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ନହୁଏ, ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅନୁଭବ ହୁଏନାହିଁ; ସେପରି ଶିବ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିରୂପେ ପ୍ରକଟ ନହେଲେ ଗ୍ରହଣ ହୁଏନାହିଁ—ଏହି ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ।
