Nārada and Himālaya: Discourse on Pārvatī’s Signs and Destiny
na mṛṣā nāradavacastviti saṃcintya sā śivā | snehaṃ śivapadadvandve cakārāti hṛdā tadā

Tattva Level: pashu
Sthala Purana: Not a Jyotirliṅga passage; it depicts bhakti-lakṣaṇa: trusting Nārada’s testimony and fixing love at Śiva’s feet—an archetype for pilgrimage as ‘pāda-sevā’ in the heart.
Significance: Implied fruit: steadfast devotion (niṣṭhā) and eligibility for Śiva’s grace (anugraha) through śaraṇāgati at the Lord’s feet.
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
Offering: pushpa
It highlights śaraṇāgati (surrender) expressed as devotion to Śiva’s feet—an inner turning of the heart from doubt to steadfast bhakti, which in Shaiva Siddhanta becomes a doorway to grace (anugraha) and liberation.
Devotion to Śiva’s feet implies loving orientation to Saguna Śiva—worshipping the manifest Lord through reverence, service, and remembrance; this same bhakti is commonly expressed in Liṅga-pūjā as offering and contemplative focus on Śiva’s presence.
A practical takeaway is heartfelt japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with mental prostration at Śiva’s feet, sustaining affectionate remembrance (smaraṇa-bhakti) during daily worship.
