Suta Goswami (colophon marker within Suta’s narration to the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya)
This is a chapter colophon that frames the episode as a purposeful divine narrative (līlā): it signals the completion of a teaching-story where conflict and consequence operate under Śiva’s sovereign order, ultimately directing the devotee toward humility, dharma, and grace.
By explicitly situating the account inside the Rudra Saṃhitā, it points the reader to Saguna Śiva’s active governance of the cosmos—where the Lord’s manifest actions (līlās) become objects of remembrance and devotion, supporting faith in Śiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) who guides beings toward right order.
As a colophon it does not prescribe a specific rite, but it supports śravaṇa (devotional listening/reading) and smaraṇa (remembrance) of Śiva’s līlā; practitioners may pair such study with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) as a steady Shaiva Siddhānta-aligned discipline.
