प्र वो धियो मन्द्रयुवो विपन्युवः पनस्युवः संवसनेष्वक्रमुः । सोमं मनीषा अभ्यनूषत स्तुभोऽभि धेनवः पयसेमशिश्रयुः ॥

Transliteration

prá vo dhíyo mandráyúvo vipanyúvaḥ panasyúvaḥ saṃvásaneṣv akramuḥ | sómaṃ manīṣā́ abhy ànūṣata stúbho ’bhí dhénavaḥ páyasā īm aśiśrayuḥ ||

Translation

ହେ (କବିମାନେ), ତୁମ ଧିୟଃ ଆଗକୁ ଯାଉ—ଆନନ୍ଦ-ଯୁବ, ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ ଓ ପ୍ରୀତିକୁ ଖୋଜୁଥିବା; ସେମାନେ ସଂବସନେଷୁ, ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳିତ ରୂପମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ, ପଦାର୍ପଣ କରନ୍ତି। ମନୀଷାମାନେ ସୋମଙ୍କୁ ଅଭି-ଅନୂଷନ୍ତି; ସ୍ତୁଭଃ ଓ ଧେନବଃ ଦୁଗ୍ଧ ସହିତ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଚାପି ଆସନ୍ତି—ତେଜୋମୟ ବଳର ପୋଷଣ ଭାବେ।
