Sukta 9.85
सहस्रणीथः शतधारो अद्भुत इन्द्रायेन्दुः पवते काम्यं मधु । जयन्क्षेत्रमभ्यर्षा जयन्नप उरुं नो गातुं कृणु सोम मीढ्वः ॥
sahasranī́thaḥ śatádhāro ádbhuta índrāyénduḥ pavate kā́myaṃ mádhu | jáyan kṣétram abhy àrṣā jáyann ápa urúṃ no gātúṃ kṛṇu soma mī́ḍhvaḥ ||
ହଜାର ନେତୃତ୍ୱର ଧାରକ, ଶତ ଧାରାର ଧାରକ, ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ—ଇନ୍ଦୁ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପବିତ୍ର ହୁଏ, ଆତ୍ମା ଯାହାକୁ କାମନା କରେ ସେହି ଆନନ୍ଦର ମଧୁ ହୋଇ। କ୍ଷେତ୍ରକୁ ଜୟ କରି ତାହା ଉପରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେ; ଅପଃ (ଜଳମାନଙ୍କୁ) ଜୟ କରି, ହେ ସୋମ, ମୀଢ୍ୱଃ (ଫଳଦାୟକ ଦାତା), ଆମ ପାଇଁ ବିଶାଳ ଗତି-ମାର୍ଗ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କର।
