आ पवस्व महीमिषं गोमदिन्दो हिरण्यवत् । अश्वावद्वाजवत्सुतः ॥

ā́ pavasva mahī́m íṣaṃ gómad indo híraṇyavat | áśvāvad vā́javat sutáḥ ||

ହେ ଇନ୍ଦୁ, ଆମ ପ୍ରତି ପବମାନ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେ—ମହୀ ଇଷ୍ (ବିଶାଳ ପୋଷଣ) ନେଇ; ଗୋମତ୍ (କିରଣ-ସମୃଦ୍ଧ), ହିରଣ୍ୟବତ୍ (ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ-ତେଜସ୍ୱୀ), ଅଶ୍ୱାବତ୍ (ପ୍ରାଣଶକ୍ତି-ସମୃଦ୍ଧ), ବାଜବତ୍ (ବଳ-ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ) — ଯଜ୍ଞକର୍ମ ପାଇଁ ପିଷିତ ତୁମେ।
