त्वावतो हीन्द्र क्रत्वे अस्मि त्वावतोऽवितुः शूर रातौ । विश्वेदहानि तविषीव उग्रँ ओकः कृणुष्व हरिवो न मर्धीः ॥

tvā́vato hí indra krátve ásmi tvā́vato 'vitúḥ śūra rātáu | viśvéd áhāni taviṣī-va ugraṃ ókaḥ kṛṇuṣva harivo ná mardhīḥ ||

ହେ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର, କ୍ରତୁ (ସଙ୍କଳ୍ପ-ଶକ୍ତି)ରେ ମୁଁ ତୋର ହିଁ; ହେ ଶୂର, ରକ୍ଷାରେ ଓ ଦାନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ତୋର ହିଁ। ହେ ତବିଷୀବ, ଉଗ୍ର, ସମସ୍ତ ଦିନରେ, ହେ ହରିବ, ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଦୃଢ଼ ଆଶ୍ରୟ-ନିବାସ ଗଢ଼; ଆମକୁ କେବେ ଅବହେଳା କରନି।
