इदा हि वो विधते रत्नमस्तीदा वीराय दाशुष उषासः । इदा विप्राय जरते यदुक्था नि ष्म मावते वहथा पुरा चित् ॥

idā́ hí vo vidhaté rátnam ástīdā́ vīrā́ya dāśúṣa uṣāsaḥ | idā́ víprāya járate yád ukthā́ ní ṣmá mā́vate vahathā purā́ cit ||

ଏବେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତୁମର ରତ୍ନ ବିଧାତେ—ଯଜ୍ଞକର୍ମ କରୁଥିବା—ପାଇଁ ଅଛି; ଏବେ, ହେ ଉଷାମାନେ, ବୀର ଦାଶୁଷ (ଦାନଶୀଳ) ପାଇଁ। ଏବେ ବୟସ୍କ ହେଉଥିବା ବିପ୍ର—ପ୍ରେରିତ ଗାୟକ—ଯେତେବେଳେ ଉକ୍ଥ (ସ୍ତୁତିବଚନ) ଧାରଣ କରେ; ନିଶ୍ଚୟ, ପ୍ରୟାସୀ ମାବତ ପାଇଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ହିଁ (ବରଦାନ) ବହନ କରିଆସିଛ।
