Sukta 6.18
अग्निर्न शुष्कं वनमिन्द्र हेती रक्षो नि धक्ष्यशनिर्न भीमा । गम्भीरय ऋष्वया यो रुरोजाध्वानयद्दुरिता दम्भयच्च ॥
agnír na śúṣkaṃ vánam indra hetī́ rakṣó ní dhakṣy aśánir na bhīmā́ | gambhī́rayā ṛṣváyā yó rurója ádhvānayad duritā́ dambháyac ca ||
ଯେପରି ଅଗ୍ନି ଶୁଷ୍କ ବନକୁ ଦହନ କରେ, ସେପରି, ହେ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର, ତୋର ହେତି (ଆୟୁଧ) ଦ୍ୱାରା ରକ୍ଷସ୍-ରୂପ ଭକ୍ଷକ ଅନ୍ଧକାରକୁ ଭସ୍ମ କର—ଭୀମ ଅଶନି ପରି। ଗମ୍ଭୀର ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ତୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଦେଉଛୁ; ତୁ ପଥ ଖୋଲୁଛୁ ଏବଂ ଦୁର୍ଗମ ଗତିପଥମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚକ୍କିଦେଉଛୁ।
