उशन्नु षु णः सुमना उपाके सोमस्य नु सुषुतस्य स्वधावः । पा इन्द्र प्रतिभृतस्य मध्वः समन्धसा ममदः पृष्ठ्येन ॥

uśán nu ṣú ṇaḥ su-manā upā́ke sómasya nu su-sútasya svadhāvaḥ | pā́ indra práti-bhṛtasya mádhvaḥ sám andhasā mamadaḥ pṛṣṭhyéna ||

ହେ ସ୍ୱଧାବନ୍ (ନିଜ ଶକ୍ତିର ଅଧିପତି), ତାହାକୁ ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା କରି ତୁମେ ଏବେ ଆମ ପାଖକୁ, ସମୀପରେ, ସୁମନ (କୃପାଳୁ) ହେଉ। ହେ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର, ତୁମ ପାଇଁ ଅର୍ପିତ ଓ ତୁମ ପାଖକୁ ଆଣିଦିଆ ମଧୁର ମଧୁ (ସୋମରସ) ପାନ କର; ଏବଂ ଆଧାରଦାୟକ ବଳସହିତ ସୋମ-ସାର (ଅନ୍ଧସ)ରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେଉ।
