Sukta 2.23
मा नः स्तेनेभ्यो ये अभि द्रुहस्पदे निरामिणो रिपवोऽन्नेषु जागृधुः । आ देवानामोहते वि व्रयो हृदि बृहस्पते न परः साम्नो विदुः ॥
mā́ naḥ stenébhyo yé abhí druháspade nirāmíṇo ripávo ánneṣu jāgṛdhúḥ | ā́ devā́nām óhate ví vrayó hṛdí bṛ́haspate ná paráḥ sāmno viduḥ ||
ଆମ ପଦ (ଆଧାର) ବିରୋଧରେ ଦ୍ରୋହ ରଚୁଥିବା ସେଇ ଚୋରମାନେ—ଅନୀରାମିଣ (ଅଚିକିତ୍ସ୍ୟ) ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ, ଅନ୍ନ/ପୋଷଣ ପାଇଁ ଲୋଭରେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ—ଆମକୁ ନ ପହଞ୍ଚୁନ୍ତୁ। ହେ ବୃହସ୍ପତେ! ତୁମେ ଦେବମାନଙ୍କର ରକ୍ଷାକବଚ ବୁଣୁଛ; ହୃଦୟରେ ଥିବା ବ୍ରୟୋ (ଆବରଣ/ବନ୍ଧନ) ତୁମେ ଖୋଲିଦେଉଛ—ସାମ୍ନର ଗୁପ୍ତ ସମନ୍ୱୟ (ରହସ୍ୟମୟ ସ୍ୱରସଙ୍ଗତି) ତୁମଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ କେହି ଜାଣେନାହିଁ।
