Transliteration

kratūyánti krátavo hṛtsú dhītáyo vénanti venā́ḥ patáyanty ā́ díśaḥ | ná marḍitā́ vidyate anyá ebhyo devéṣu me ádhi kā́mā ayaṃsata ||

Translation

ହୃଦୟରେ ଋତୁସମୟରେ କର୍ମସଙ୍କଳ୍ପମାନେ ଚଳିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ଧୀତିମାନେ ପ୍ରେରିତ ହୋଇ ଆକାଙ୍କ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି, ଏବଂ ୱେନାଃ—ଇଚ୍ଛାମାନେ—ଦିଗମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଉଡ଼ିଯାଆନ୍ତି। ଏମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଆନନ୍ଦଦାତା ମିଳେନାହିଁ; ଦେବମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମୋର ଅଧି-କାମା (ଆକାଙ୍କ୍ଷା) ସ୍ଥାପିତ ହୋଇଛି।
