Sukta 10.49
अहं स यो नववास्त्वं बृहद्रथं सं वृत्रेव दासं वृत्रहारुजम् । यद्वर्धयन्तं प्रथयन्तमानुषग्दूरे पारे रजसो रोचनाकरम् ॥
ahaṃ sá yó náva-vāstvaṃ bṛhád-rathaṃ sáṃ vṛtréva dā́saṃ vṛtra-hā́ rújam | yád vardháyantaṃ pratháyantam ānuṣág dūré pāré rájasaḥ rocanā́ ákaram ||
ମୁଁ ସେଇ, ଯିଏ ଆବରଣ-ହନ୍ତା ଭାବେ—ବୃତ୍ର ପରି—ନବ ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ବୃହତ୍ ରଥକୁ ଦଖଳ କରିଥିବା ଶତ୍ରୁ ଦାସ-ଅବରୋଧକକୁ ଚୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଦେଲି। ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ବଳ ମାନବ-ଜଗତରେ ବଢ଼ୁଥିଲା ଓ ପ୍ରସାରିତ ହେଉଥିଲା, ମୁଁ ଧୂସର ମଧ୍ୟ-ଲୋକଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରି ଦୂର ତଟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୀପ୍ତିମାନ ବିସ୍ତାରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବହି ନେଇ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ କରିଲି।
