Sukta 1.63
त्वं ह त्यदिन्द्र सप्त युध्यन्पुरो वज्रिन्पुरुकुत्साय दर्दः । बर्हिर्न यत्सुदासे वृथा वर्गंहो राजन्वरिवः पूरवे कः ॥
tváṃ ha tyád indra saptá yúdhyann púro vajrin puru-kútsāya dárdaḥ | barhír ná yát su-dā́se vṛ́thā várgaṃho rā́jan várivaḥ pūráve káḥ ||
ହେ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର, ବଜ୍ରଧାରୀ! ତୁମେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ପୁରୁକୁତ୍ସ ପାଇଁ ସାତଟି ପୁର (ଦୁର୍ଗ) ଭାଙ୍ଗିଦେଲ। ଏବଂ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମେ ସୁଦାସ ପାଇଁ—ବର୍ହିସ ପରି ବିସ୍ତୃତ ପବିତ୍ର ଆସନ ସଦୃଶ—ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ଦମନର ବିରୋଧରେ ମୁକ୍ତ ପଥ ଖୋଲିଦେଲ, ହେ ରାଜନ, ପୂରୁକୁ ଏପରି ବିଶାଳ ଅବକାଶ ଆଉ କିଏ ଦେଇପାରିବ?
