Trishanku’s Curse and Appeal to Viśvāmitra
धर्मे प्रयतमानस्य यज्ञं चाहर्तुमिच्छत:।।।।परितोषं न गच्छन्ति गुरवो मुनिपुङ्गव ।
dharme prayatamānasya yajñaṃ cāhartum icchataḥ | paritoṣaṃ na gacchanti guravo munipuṅgava ||
ହେ ମୁନିପୁଙ୍ଗବ, ମୁଁ ଧର୍ମରେ ପ୍ରୟତ୍ନଶୀଳ ହୋଇ ଯଜ୍ଞ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ, ମୋର ଗୁରୁମାନେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେଉନାହାନ୍ତି—ସେମାନେ ଅନୁମୋଦନ କରୁନାହାନ୍ତି।
O Pre-eminent among sages! I endeavour to do my duty. I intend to perform a sacrifice. My gurus do not appreciate this.
