The Manifestation of the Śloka
रहस्यं च प्रकाशं च यद्वृत्तं तस्य धीमत: ।रामस्य सहसौमित्रेः राक्षसानां च सर्वश: ।।1.2.33।। वैदेह्याश्चैव यद्वृत्तं प्रकाशं यदि वा रह: ।तच्चाप्यविदितं सर्वं विदितं ते भविष्यति ।।1.2.34।।
rahasyaṃ ca prakāśaṃ ca yad vṛttaṃ tasya dhīmataḥ | rāmasya saha-saumitreḥ rākṣasānāṃ ca sarvaśaḥ || 1.2.33 ||
vaidehyāś caiva yad vṛttaṃ prakāśaṃ yadi vā rahaḥ | tac cāpy aviditaṃ sarvaṃ viditaṃ te bhaviṣyati || 1.2.34 ||
ସେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ରାମଙ୍କର—ସୌମିତ୍ରୀ (ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମଣ) ସହିତ—ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାରେ ରାକ୍ଷସମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଗୁପ୍ତ କିମ୍ବା ପ୍ରକାଶ୍ୟ ଯାହା ଘଟିଛି; ତଥା ବୈଦେହୀ (ସୀତା) ବିଷୟରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ୍ୟ କିମ୍ବା ଗୁପ୍ତ ଯାହା ଘଟିଛି—ସେ ସବୁ, ପୂର୍ବେ ତୁମକୁ ଅବିଦିତ ଥିଲା ଯାହା, ସେଥି ସହିତ, ସମସ୍ତ ତୁମକୁ ବିଦିତ ହେବ।
The incidents pertaining to sagacious Rama together with Lakshmana, Sita, Bharata, etc. and the rakshasas - their deeds, thoughts, unknown or known to everybody and even not known to you, will be revealed to you by my grace.
The epic’s dharma rests on satya: Brahmā ensures completeness and accuracy, so the account of dharma (Rāma) and adharma (rākṣasas) is narrated without omission.
Brahmā promises Vālmīki full insight into all events—public and private—so the Ramāyaṇa can be composed as an authoritative itihāsa.
Vālmīki’s role as a reliable transmitter of truth, supported by divine revelation for narrative completeness.
