Narada’s Summary to Valmiki
सर्वदाभिगतस्सद्भिस्समुद्र इव सिन्धुभिः ।आर्यस्सर्वसमश्चैव सदैकप्रियदर्शनः ।।।।
sarvadābhigataḥ sadbhiḥ samudra iva sindhubhiḥ |
āryaḥ sarvasamaś caiva sadaikapriyadarśanaḥ ||1.1.16||
ସଦ୍ଜନମାନେ ସର୍ବଦା ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ସହଜରେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ କରିପାରନ୍ତି—ନଦୀମାନେ ଯେପରି ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି—ସେ ତେଣୁ ସଦା ଅଭିଗମ୍ୟ ଥିଲେ; ସେ ଆର୍ୟ, ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସମଭାବୀ ଏବଂ ସଦା ପ୍ରିୟ-ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ଦର୍ଶନବାନ୍ ଥିଲେ।
He has performed the duties of a king and protected his subjects. knowledgeable in the true nature of the Vedas he is accomplished in military science (he is a great archer).
Righteous authority is accessible and impartial: dharma in leadership includes openness to the virtuous and equal regard, expressed through calm, pleasing conduct.
Nārada concludes this segment of Rāma’s characterization by highlighting his accessibility, nobility, and even-minded demeanor.
Samatā (equanimity) and saulabhya (approachability), presenting an ethical ideal of power without arrogance.
