ତାପରେ ତ୍ରୟୋଦଶ ଦିନର ପ୍ରଭାତ ସମୟରେ, ଶୋକରେ ପରାଭୂତ ମହାବାହୁ ଭରତ ଶୋଧନ ବିଧି ପାଇଁ ଆସିଲେ; ରୋଦନରେ କଣ୍ଠ ସଙ୍କୁଚିତ, ପିତାଙ୍କ ଚିତାମୂଳେ ଅତିଦୁଃଖିତ ହୋଇ ଏହି ବଚନ କହିଲେ।
