अद्येयं प्रथमा रात्रिर्याता जनपदाद्बहिः।या सुमन्त्रेण रहिता तां नोत्कण्ठितुमर्हसि।।।।

adyeyaṁ prathamā rātrir yātā janapadād bahiḥ |

yā sumantreṇa rahitā tāṁ notkaṇṭhitum arhasi ||

ଆଜି ଜନପଦର ବାହାରେ ଆମର ପ୍ରଥମ ରାତ୍ରି; ସୁମନ୍ତ୍ର ବିନା। ତଥାପି ଏହାକୁ ନେଇ ତୁମେ ଉତ୍କଣ୍ଠିତ ହେବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ।
