अयोध्याकाण्डे चतुर्थः सर्गः
Rāma Summoned; Pushya Coronation Decision
अनुभूतानि चेष्टानि मया वीर सुखान्यपि।देवर्षिपितृविप्राणामनृणोऽस्मि तथाऽत्मनः।।2.4.14।।
anubhūtāni ceṣṭāni mayā vīra sukhāny api | devarṣi-pitṛ-viprāṇām anṛṇo 'smi tathātmanaḥ || 2.4.14 ||
ହେ ବୀର! ମୁଁ ଯେ ସୁଖ ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲି, ସେସବୁ ସୁଖ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅନୁଭବ କରିସାରିଛି; ଦେବ, ଋଷି, ପିତୃ ଓ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି—ଏବଂ ନିଜ ଆତ୍ମା ପ୍ରତି ମଧ୍ୟ—ମୁଁ ଏବେ ଋଣମୁକ୍ତ।
O mighty son! I have experienced all the pleasures I longed for. I redeemed my debt to the gods, the sages, my ancestors, brahmins and to myself.
Dharma is framed as repayment of life’s obligations (ṛṇa): to divine order, tradition, teachers/priests, ancestors, and one’s own conscience.
Daśaratha explains that he has completed the major obligations of a king and householder, preparing the ground for succession.
