Narada (narrating Tirtha-Mahatmya to the Sanatkumara brothers, traditional dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that sincere abhiṣeka at a prescribed tīrtha can yield extraordinary punya—symbolically equated with the Aśvamedha—showing the Purana’s emphasis on accessible, tīrtha-centered dharma.
While not naming a deity here, the act of abhiṣeka at a sacred site is framed as a devotional, faith-based ritual whose fruit includes inner dharmic character—generosity and righteousness—hallmarks of bhakti-informed living.
Ritual procedure and timing are implied (kalpa/śrauta-smārta practice): performing abhiṣeka correctly at the designated place is presented as the actionable means to obtain the stated merit.
