Narada
Vrata: Māgha-vrata / Māgha-snāna (explicit month)
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"adbhuta","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"Auspicious anticipation of Māgha’s yogic fruits, culminating in awe at transformation into Rudra’s gaṇa through Prabhāsa bathing."}
It links specific tīrthas and sacred timings (Māgha and Makara-Āditya) with definite spiritual outcomes—yogic siddhi-fruit at Devahrada and Rudra’s grace at Prabhāsa through tīrtha-snāna.
Bhakti here is expressed through tīrtha-sevā and snāna performed with faith; the promised result—becoming aligned with Rudra’s gaṇas—frames the act as devotional surrender to a deity’s sphere.
Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology/astronomy) is implied by “Makara-Āditya”—the auspicious period when the Sun transits Capricorn—used to time ritual bathing for enhanced merit.
