Narada (teaching in a tirtha-mahatmya context, traditionally within Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It states the tirtha-power of sacred bathing: bathing at the mentioned site grants heavenly attainment, and the text emphasizes the Yamunā’s northern bank as filled with multiple sin-destroying pilgrimage spots (pāpa-ghna tirthas).
While not explicitly naming bhakti, it supports the Purāṇic bhakti framework by honoring Vishnu-aligned tirtha practices—snāna, pilgrimage, and reverence—which purify the devotee and orient life toward divine merit and liberation (apunarbha va).
It highlights kalpa-style ritual practice in a Purāṇic form: tīrtha-snāna (regulated sacred bathing) and the dharmic principle that specific sacred geographies and rites are prescribed as pāpa-śamana (sin-removal) disciplines.
