Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"adbhuta","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Wonder at a rare calendrical conjunction culminates in assurance of extraordinary merit."}
It elevates a specific tithi–nakṣatra conjunction (Arddhodaya) as exceptionally merit-giving, teaching that dharmic acts gain amplified spiritual फल (puṇya) when performed at highly auspicious cosmic timings.
By highlighting sacred timing, it indirectly guides devotees to perform worship, charity, fasting, and remembrance of the Divine on Arddhodaya, when devotional acts are said to yield multiplied spiritual results.
Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astronomy/astrology): identifying auspicious observances through the linkage of lunar month (Pauṣa/Māgha), tithi (Amāvāsyā), and nakṣatra (Śravaṇa and the marker termed Amārka-pāta).
