Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
bhaktyā dṛṣṭvā tu taṃ devaṃ praṇamya nṛhariṃ śubhe | mucyate pātakairmartyaḥ samastairnātra saṃśayaḥ || 74 ||
Narada
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Devotional darśana (seeing) and praṇāma culminate in assurance of complete sin-release."}
It asserts the purificatory power of Nṛsiṃha-darśana and namaskāra performed with bhakti: sincere devotional seeing and prostration are said to destroy all pātakas (sins).
Bhakti is presented as the decisive inner condition: mere contact is not emphasized—rather, seeing the Lord with devotion and bowing in surrender becomes the means for inner cleansing and spiritual uplift.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught here; the practical takeaway is ritual praxis (namaskāra and darśana) empowered by bhakti, a common Purāṇic principle used in tīrtha-mahātmyas.
