Narada (teaching in the Tirtha-Mahatmya context)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"From the intention to worship at the sacred site to the reassuring promise of tangible blessings, the verse sustains a devotional, benevolent mood."}
It highlights a core Purāṇic principle: sincere worship performed in the deity’s own sacred locus (tīrtha/kshetra) becomes especially potent, and the presiding deity responds by granting fitting fruits (phala).
Bhakti here is expressed as personal presence (staying at the holy place) and active pūjā; the verse frames devotion as a living relationship where the deity reciprocates by granting blessings and supportive life-conditions for continued dharma.
Ritual practice is implied rather than technical: it points to pūjā conducted according to kalpa/ācāra (procedural discipline), emphasizing proper worship in a designated sacred space rather than topics like vyākaraṇa or jyotiṣa.
