गयाशिरसि यः पिंडं शमीपत्रप्रमाणतः । कंदमूलफलाद्यैर्वा दद्यात्स्वर्गं नयेत्पितॄन् ॥ ४८ ॥

gayāśirasi yaḥ piṃḍaṃ śamīpatrapramāṇataḥ | kaṃdamūlaphalādyairvā dadyātsvargaṃ nayetpitṝn || 48 ||

ଗୟାଶିରସରେ ଯେ ଶମୀପତ୍ର-ପରିମାଣର ପିଣ୍ଡ—କିମ୍ବା କନ୍ଦ, ମୂଳ, ଫଳ ଆଦିଦ୍ୱାରା ମଧ୍ୟ—ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାରେ ଦାନ କରେ, ସେ ପିତୃମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗକୁ ନେଇଯାଏ।
