Narada (instructional assurance within a tirtha/mahatmya-style narrative of the Uttara-Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It links worldly duty (ruling justly and protecting subjects) with sacred duty (performing yajñas with proper dakṣiṇā), presenting both as a dharmic path culminating in attaining Viṣṇuloka.
Bhakti here is expressed through Viṣṇu-oriented destiny: when governance and ritual action are aligned with dharma and offered in the spirit of honoring Viṣṇu, the fruit is nearness to Viṣṇu—symbolized by reaching Viṣṇuloka.
Ritual propriety is emphasized through the requirement of sa-dakṣiṇā yajña—an applied point of Kalpa (Vedāṅga of ritual procedure), underscoring correct performance and proper priestly remuneration.
