Prepared to Slay His Son

मोहिनीवचनं श्रृण्वन्भुंक्ष्व मा हन देहजम् । मा भुंक्ष्व तनयं हिंस चेत्याग्रहसमन्वितम् ॥ २ ॥

mohinīvacanaṃ śrṛṇvanbhuṃkṣva mā hana dehajam | mā bhuṃkṣva tanayaṃ hiṃsa cetyāgrahasamanvitam || 2 ||

ମୋହିନୀର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣି ସେ ଅଗ୍ରହସହ କହିଲା—“ଖାଅ, ନିଜ ଦେହଜକୁ ମାରନି। ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଖାଅନି; ତାକୁ ହତ୍ୟା କର,” ବୋଲି ସେ ଜିଦ୍ ଧରିଲା।
